2012

June / July 2012

We're moving to Dallas, TX. The furniture is transported with U-Haul's U-Box, the dog kennels and most important things travel in a minivan with a trailer. On the way are 2 adult giant schnauzers (Worf with Vertigo), 1 adult husky lady, and 5 puppies. 2 puppies are dropped off in Pittsburgh as they are supposed to go to their new families from there. 3 puppies are coming with me to Texas.

The puppies go to the vet for an initial check-up, docking of tails and removing of dew claws. 2 males keep their tails. Now it's time to find names for the puppies.

Ferenginar's A-litter is in the world. The Easter eggs are born: 2 girls and 8 boys. One of the males dies within the first 24 hours. One male is a tiny one that Jazzy puts in my lap for additional feeding.

March 2012

DNA profiles for Worf and Jazzy are sent to the AKC.

February 2012

I have the feeling, if I don't have my litter now it will never happen. So I mate Worf and Jazzy for the long-planned A-litter. This litter is under the kennel name 'Ferenginar's Riesenschnauzer', which the ex-husband wanted and which is protected by the WRSF.
